Designed for offices, customer service stations and reception counters, KS31 combines physical call controls for daily use with remote configuration tools for IT teams.
The backlit color screen shows call information, contacts and phone menus at 240 × 320 resolution. Physical navigation keys and dedicated phonebook and call history buttons provide direct access to frequently used functions.
Register two SIP accounts on one desk phone. Hold a caller while checking information, transfer the call to a colleague or forward incoming calls to another destination. Three-way audio conferencing allows a third participant to join the conversation.
Take calls through the HD handset, full-duplex speakerphone or a compatible wired RJ9 headset. Physical mute and volume keys keep audio controls within reach.
KS31 supports Opus, G.711, G.722, G.729, AMR-NB/WB and iLBC. Automatic echo cancellation supports hands-free conversations.
Choose Wi-Fi 6 or wired Ethernet to suit the installation location. Two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports support wired connections, while PoE allows compatible network equipment to supply data and power through one Ethernet cable.
IPv4/IPv6, VLAN and QoS support configuration for business VoIP networks.
Confirm the required Wi-Fi and PoE configuration when requesting samples or placing an order. The specified DC power input is 5V / 1A.
KS31 supports remote provisioning, TR-069 configuration and remote firmware upgrades. Administrators can also adjust settings through the web interface or phone menus.
HTTPS, TLS and SRTP support secure web access, signaling and voice transport when enabled with a compatible platform.
KAER manufactures SIP phones and can evaluate branding, packaging and project-specific hardware or software requirements for KS31. Customization scope and delivery requirements are confirmed after technical review.
Use a dedicated VoIP desk phone for daily internal and external calls. Staff can bring a colleague into a three-way conversation or forward incoming calls when working away from their desk.
Connect an RJ9 headset to handle calls while working at a computer. Place a caller on hold to check information, then resume the conversation or transfer the enquiry to the appropriate colleague.
Look up contacts, answer incoming enquiries and connect callers with the relevant department. Physical controls keep routine call handling accessible at counters used by different staff members.
Can KS31 work with Asterisk or 3CX?
KS31 supports standard SIP connectivity with Asterisk, 3CX and other SIP-based IP PBX systems. Registration and required calling features should be verified with your platform version during sample testing.
Does KS31 support automatic provisioning?
Yes. KS31 supports remote provisioning and TR-069 configuration. Provisioning compatibility is checked separately against your management platform.
What type of headset can I connect?
KS31 has an RJ9 port for a compatible wired headset. Check the headset’s wiring and compatibility during sample evaluation. Users can also make calls through the handset or built-in speakerphone.
What is the difference between KS31 and KS30?
KS31 has a 2.4-inch color LCD with 240 × 320 resolution. KS30 has a 2.3-inch monochrome LCD with 132 × 64 resolution. Both support two SIP accounts.
